A greenfield site located on the edge of a village. Origin3 conducted an initial planning appraisal and developed a planning strategy to take the site forward. Planning and urban design services were provided to lead the team towards the preparation of an Outline planning application for up to 95 dwellings.
Complexities included scale of development in relation to existing village, landscape impact, the protected species and drainage. Origin3 also led negotiations and dialogue with the local community, key stakeholders and the local planning authority’s officers and members, which was considered a key part of the negotiation strategy towards the successful outcome.
